We are a small breeder and only raise 1 to 2 litters of Australian Shepherd puppies a year. Our litters consist of AKC Australian Shepherd Puppies no matter the size! I fell in love with this breed over 20 years ago because of their intelligence and their devotion to their family. You will never understand the term "velcro dog" till you have an Aussie!
We have Registered AKC Australian Shepherd dogs. My dogs all came from wonderful, knowledgeable breeders that I admire. I strive to produce puppies that not only I am proud of, but that they would be to! Our litters produce Miniature Australian Shepherds and Small Standard Australian Shepherds.

Australian Shepherds are a wonderful breed but they are not for everyone! They need a pack leader because they can and will take the dominant role in the home if they are allowed to. Aussies are very loyal to their family but can be reserved with strangers. They do need to be socialized early and exposing them to different things when they are young is important, but also be mindful of the different stages of fear periods puppies go through.
Enrolling in a puppy socialization/kindergarten class is a great start to help with their need for learning and socializing. I always suggest taking at least one obedience class, it is important for training and to continue socializing as they are maturing. Australian Shepherds, well any dog for that matter, need physical exercise and mental stimulation to make them happy. Agility, hiking, running, fetch, frisbee, rally-o, swimming or just obedience classes are great outlets for their need to think. Boredom and not enough exercise, mentally and physically, is the leading cause of unwanted behavior. Australian Shepherds want and need to be with their people, they don’t like to be left out of anything!
Australian Shepherds are inherently reserved with strangers. Some lines are more timid than others, and early socialization is important to help avoid shyness. Interactions with strangers shouldn’t be forced, let them interact when and if they are ready. All of my dogs are AKC Australian Shepherds. I just happen to have mini versions of aussies also. If bred correctly they have the same traits as the standards just in a smaller package.
Things to consider if you are thinking about an aussie puppy…..
Can you provide enough exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy? Australian Shepherds were originally bred to work, not just pets to be left in a crate, or to hang around without any stimulation. Too many people acquire this breed because of their beauty and intelligence, but don't provide enough for these dogs to vent their energy and use their mind. A bored Australian Shepherds will get themselves into trouble if not exercised properly. If you want a dog that doesn’t require exercise and and mental stimulation, this isn’t the breed for you. They are thinkers and problem solvers. Some Aussies are smart enough to figure out how to get what they want before you even realize they are doing it. Some are more stubborn and dominant and will test you to make you prove that you should be the one in charge. Australian Shepherds do shed and require regular grooming. If you've read all of this and still think an Australian Shepherd would be a good fit for you just reach out!
Timberline All Cashed Out - "Cash" is our one and only stud here. He has given us beautiful babies and passes on his wonderful temperament.
Diamond K5 Demetira Handles The Storm - "Demi"
She is everything you would want in an aussie, smart, athletic and devoted! She is a minimal white black bi who carries blue eyes.
Koska's She's An Adventurous One -"Navie" or as I call her Noodle cause she's always wiggling! She has a wonderful temperament, gets along with everyone and still thinks she's a puppy!
She is a black bi with blue eyes.
Our Australian Shepherd puppies are born and raised in my home. I sleep next to them for the first 3 weeks to make sure everyone is doing well. After that they are moved to a puppy pen to start litter box training and get toys introduced to them. Puppies are touched and loved on as soon as they are born. I let them out to romp and play and introduce new things to them. They are on my main floor so they see and hear all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. They are given lots of attention and love every day!
I have changed the way I do things with the overwhelming requests for puppies. I receive a lot of questionnaires so I have decided that I will be posting updates on my facebook page and you can then contact me to let me know you would be interested in a pup. The first step is to fill out a puppy questionnaire so I can learn more about what your looking for in a puppy. Also we reserve the right to not place a puppy in a home if we do not feel the puppy is the right fit.
Unfortunately with the world we now live in, I no longer do puppy visits prior to pick up day. I post lots of pictures and videos on our facebook page so you can see their personalities as they grow. I am available to FaceTime also!
Our puppies range from $2,500 - $3,500. plus 7% RI sales tax for pet/companion homes only. Breeding rights are on an individual basis and can be discussed.
Our puppies come with a health guarantee against certain hereditary issues. Our dogs have been tested through Embark, Paw Print Genetics and Canine Health Check.
I prefer to meet the families that are taking my pups, but I know that is not always possible. I prefer you fly to RI to pick up your pup or have the pup flown with a puppy nanny, I am not comfortable shipping a puppy via cargo. I am also not a fan of ground transport, it takes to long for the pup to get to where they are going and I feel the stress is much worse than being on a plane and home the same day.
Our babies are adopted quickly, so fill out the questionnaire in the section above!
